Dick Axelrod
Dick Axelrod co founded The Axelrod Group, Inc., a consulting firm that pioneered the use of employee involvement to effect large scale organizational change. He now brings thirty years of consulting and teaching experience to this work, with clients including Boeing, Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, and Hewlett Packard. Dick is faculty in Columbia University’s Professional Program in Organization Development, and the University of Chicago’s Leadership Arts Program. He serves on the Board of Directors of Berrett-Koehler publishers. Dick authored Terms of Engagement: Changing the Way We Change Organizations, and co authored You Don’t Have to Do It Alone: How to Involve Others to Get Things Done, which the New York Times calls, “the best of the current crop of books on this subject.” His latest e-book is How to Get People to Care about What You Find Important.

Jim Kouzes
Jim Kouzes is the coauthor with Barry Posner of the award-winning and best-selling book, The Leadership Challenge, with over 1.5 million copies sold. He is also the Dean’s Executive Professor of Leadership, Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University.
Jim and Barry have coauthored over a dozen other books including A Leader’s Legacy (chosen by Canada’s Globe and Mail as one of the top ten books of 2006), Credibility: How Leaders Gain and Lose It, Why People Demand It (chosen by Industry Week as one of the ten best management books of 1993) and Encouraging the Heart (1999, 2003). The International Management Council (IMC) honored Jim and Barry as the 2001 recipients of the prestigious Wilbur M. McFeely Award for their outstanding contributions to management and leadership education. Past McFeely Award recipients include: Peter Drucker, Lee Iacocca, Tom Peters, Ken Blanchard, Norman Vincent Peale, Francis Hesselbein, Stephen Covey, and Rosabeth Moss Kanter. In 2006 Jim was presented with the Golden Gavel, the highest honor awarded by Toastmasters International.
